They don't show up in regular shoes, but help smooth the way! They are the thickness of trouser socks. They also have little rubber skids on the bottoms to help me grip! The answers to these questions will be very useful when/if I ever buy a pair designer shoes in my lifetime. Question: it looks like you have bare feet/legs in all the photos.
