I’m Baaaaack!
I’m so sorry for my prolonged silence, everyone! Thanks for all your posts and well wishes… Yes, I’m still alive and still shopping (though these days, as the old married lady that I am, it’s more about square footage than round toes, alas). Well, a girl can still look, right? As a wise-ass man once said (that would be Josh Holloway from Lost): I’m wed, not dead! 
Well, here’s a novel concept: Shop blogging: the new window shopping! More on my pre-spring picks soon. I’m going to apologize ahead of time in case my posts are still sporadic. Summer hours, I’m afraid, may last into spring…
In the meantime, I’m happy to report that all the winter clothes that I’d bought pre-wedding are finally seeing the light of day now that the temperature’s dropped. Oooh, the wool knit dresses and boots and my fabulous new coat with the cuddly fur collar… and all my Laineys too! Was I the only one hating the freakish, L.A.-like balminess that we were having in New York?

No, you weren’t. Here in Italy (I live in the North-East) temperature has dropped down since yesterday and tonight it has snowed, at least, but all through December and January the climate was absolutely autumn-ish, not wintery at all. I really hope this cold weather remains here for a while.
